Adventures for travelling lonely or with friends!
I hear you asking why would I would to go on a short weekend by myself? I’m going to tell you why. Going to a foreign country by yourself may seem very daunting but it actually is a really good thing! For instance you will get to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds which will help you embrace what it’s really like to be in that country. Paris, the capital of France is the best place for that. They have tourists and locals all over the place and the locals like to interact and meet new people.
One of the main tourist attractions in Paris is the Eiffel Tower, one of the worlds most visited tourist attractions! For those of you who’ve not seen it here is what it looks like, it’s a marvelous sight!
This is ideal for the tourist travelling on their own as they can imbrace the culture even more and you will be able to tell all of your friends that you’ve seen the Eiffel Tower! Imagine Face timing your friends from the top of the tower, how AMAZING would that be?
If you click on this link there is a limited time deal where if you book any hotel in Paris you get to visit the Eiffel Tower for free! You have to be a single passenger to be able to activate this deal.
To finish off I will leave you with some hotels to think about, whether you have a big or a small budget hopefully I can find the right one for you!
Shangri-La Hotel, Paris
Arguably one of the most enviably located hotels near the Eiffel Tower with a balcony, its glittering illuminations are visible from 60 percent of the rooms. The Palais de Tokyo and Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris are less than five minutes’ walk down the road, while it’s 20 minutes to the Champs-Élysées and plenty of fine dining. For all its polished marble and twinkling chandeliers, the atmosphere is surprisingly low-key, and service is near faultless. Rooms fair at around £572 per night.
Hotel La Bourdonnais
From its white façade strung with red geraniums to the chocolate-canopied entrance and big Eiffel Tower views, La Bourdonnais screams Paris. Set on a wide avenue, the hotel is a hop and a skip from the classical 18th-century École Militaire military training school – and nearby metro station and brasseries – at the southern end of the Parc du Champ de Mars. Inside, curios evoking the globetrotting life of an 18th-century naval captain add vintage glamour to a modern décor. Rooms cover several floors; those at the top offer great views, and – unusually for a top-end hotel – single rooms are available. Rooms fair from £132 per night.
I hope this helped you decide how to relax your mind before your important exams!
